Sunnies Face Airblush Review
From their Fluff Matte lipsticks to their Life Brow kits, Sunnies Face has put out products that consumers canโt get enough of. Love them or not, thereโs no denying the urge to try each release. For this review, weโre looking at their newest addition to the growing cosmetics line: the Sunnies Face Airblush. Letโs get into it.
About the Sunnies Face Airblush
Sunnies Face is a local cosmetics brand known for its modern look and uniquely formulated products. But theyโre also quite polarizing. As far as makeup moguls go, Sunnies Face has had its fair share of controversies that range from political missteps to underwhelming releases.
This time, weโre shifting our eye to their newer products. In this review, weโre going over their blush line, the Sunnies Airbrush โ a โsoft-focus, sheer cheek tint with a silky matte finish,โ ideal for adding a little extra color to your skin during no-makeup makeup days. This balmy blush has a unique texture that makes it easy to apply and also easy to correct โ perfect for beginners.
The product comes in six shades: Peached, Biscuit, and Doll, which are the lighter of the six; and Razz, Moon, and Disco, which are your more pigmented ones.
The best part? The blush serves as an all-in-one tint. You can apply it on your cheeks, lips, eyes, nose, and other parts of your skin that need an extra pop of color to achieve the illusion of a โfiltered flush.โ For those who canโt seem to get the hang of powdered blush, this creamy product might help!
Benefits of the Sunnies Face Airblush with Six Buildable Shades
What makes the Air Blush stand out from the others? We can name a few things:
- Blends easily into existing makeup
- Subtle and natural-looking
- The buildable pigment that looks warm on the skin
- Each shade is unique
- Matches every skin tone
- Cheek tint that also works as a lipstick/tint and eyeshadow color
Ingredients of the Airblush by Sunnies Face
The Air Blush has a surprisingly soft texture that makes it light and breezy to apply. The ultra-fine pigments add a pop of color wherever you need it. Letโs take a look at its main ingredients:
- Isononyl Isononanoate. This ingredient is commonly used in light creams. Itโs an emollient that makes the blush soft and smooth on the skin.
- Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract. Better known as green tea extract, this antioxidant-rich ingredient is also a great emollient and humectant.
- Titanium Dioxide/Ci 77891. This is a common colorant found in many cosmetic products.

How to Use the Airblush by Sunnies Face
The Airblush by Sunnies is a buildable cream-to-powder tint that can be used on the cheeks, lips, nose, and eyes, although some colors may not pop as much on the eyes and lips.
To apply on the cheeks/cheekbones, take an ample amount of the blush and dab it on the cheeks, using the fingers to spread the color across the face. Add layers as desired.

Our Verdict
When it comes to local brands, Sunnies Faceโs Airblush is one of the pricier products in the market. I do love that itโs marketed quite accurately as a sheer tint rather than a full-on blush. It works great to create the barely-there flushed look for no-makeup days.
It also comes in six different shades that range from warm to really warm. The doll is perhaps the lightest shade; a soft, sheer carnation pink that is easy to build. I found this shade to be better suited for really fair or really tan skin. If you fall somewhere in the middle, the color might get lost.
The shade Biscuit, on the other hand, is a more versatile color that works with almost any skin tone, but itโs better for the cheeks than the eye or lip area. Moon and Razz are both darker pink tones and are much more pigmented compared to Biscuit. However, I found those colors to be less forgiving and beginner-friendly than the other buildable ones.
My personal favorites are the shades Peached and Disco, which are a subtle peached shade and a bright red, respectively. The swatch will look a little different than the actual application but in a positive way. The way the color seamlessly blends on makeup is pure art!
As for the texture, I found the balminess of it perfect for my dry skin. However, I noticed it tends to dry the longer it stays and the more product you add. It also fades after a few hours, which didnโt matter so much to me since the application is pretty simple. (Pro tip: wearing this on top of a primer or foundation can make it last longer!) As a lip tint, the color tends to fade if youโve been drinking or eating food.

Sunnies Face Airblush
Whether the product is worth the money or not is completely up to you, but I was definitely satisfied with this buy. The formula is perfect for my skin and it doesnโt just come in one shade.
The beauty of it lies in its versatility since I was able to use darker colors on different parts of my face. Although I do understand why some customers are unhappy with the short wear time, I didnโt find it to be a pressing concern.
