Our Verdict
Glow Recipe’s lineup of products is made of all-natural and vegan ingredients, and the Blueberry Bounce Cleanser is no exception. It even has bits of blueberry when you pump out the gel cleanser, making true to its claims that this product truly does make use of the fruit well and that it isn’t just all talk. Because of its blueberry included in its ingredients, it does have a fruity scent once you open up the packaging. It’s not overbearing at all — but if you’re someone who isn’t fond of scented products, this might not be for you.
Unlike any other cleanser out there, the Blueberry Bounce can be used in three different ways.
As a cleanser, the Blueberry Bounce does its job: it can remove makeup well, even the toughest eye makeup. It also works as a cleanser on its own, leaving the skin soft. Although, it does leave off a slight film after rinsing.
We haven’t exactly seen a review of any cleansing product that also claims to be used as a mask and frankly, it does feel odd to use it as a wash-off mask. We can’t truly say it works well as that, especially for its price. There are better wash-off products out there in the market that have a more affordable price than this one. Apart from its dubious mask claims, we do still think it worked great as a gel cleanser, especially as a makeup eraser.

We do think it’s a pretty good product as it does soften the face upon wash. We have some qualms about it, though. It leaves a slight film after washing; we don’t want to wash our faces way too much as it would lead to the skin feeling tight and too squeaky.
We also don’t think it worked as a sleeping mask and we still stand by our claim that there are other wash-off products out there that work a lot better. Lastly, it has a rather high price tag and can put a dent in a person’s bank account.
Additionally, people who have sensitive skin might find the ingredients irritating so it’s best to patch test first before application. Still, if you want a cleanser that works both as a first step and a second step, grab this one.
