Our Verdict
We love the part-gel, part-watery formulation of this serum, as it’s lightweight and smooth, and glides on the skin when applied. It doesn’t take more than a minute to set in, and when it does, it leaves the face feeling a bit matte. As it does have aloe vera in its formulation, it’s not surprising that it also gives off the same scent. Another thing we like about this is its packaging. The serum comes in a nice glass bottle with a pump and a grungy label, which can really be Instagrammable. Best of all, it’s made in the Philippines! Seeing so many local beauty brands made by local people thriving is a really good thing. We should always support local products, beauty brands, or otherwise, whenever we can.

In this review, we’re giving this serum a rating of 4 out of 5! We love its lightweight texture and how it sinks quickly into the skin. It also doesn’t feel sticky on the skin after application, which is great.
It’s also interesting to see that this product has a PH level of 5.0 to 5.5. We did find that it regulated our sebum levels, and waking up with our face not greasy at all was a great thing!
However, one of our main skin concerns is lightening acne marks, and we really haven’t seen any drastic improvement in that department. We still need to cover hyperpigmentation with makeup. We have seen a reduction in acne though, so that’s another point for this product.
Another of its claims is that it can smoothen out lines and wrinkles but we also haven’t really seen any results with things like that. We still think it’s a great product overall, and one that you should add to your beauty stash if you’re looking for a nice serum to finish off your routine.
