AHA Mimi White Mini Body Serum Review
With the summer sun blazing 24/7, it’s normal for our skin to experience some uneven tanning or dark spots. Personally, I love tanning at the beach, but it’s hard to get an even skin tone when you’re just out and about yet exposed to UV rays.
I’m sure many people feel the same way – which is why whitening products like the Mimi White AHA serum have become a cult favorite. The Mimi White AHA Mini Serum boasts potent moisturizing effects and effective removal of dead skin cells, revealing a brighter, glowing complexion.
Let’s review this Thai product to see if it’s worth the buy.
About the AHA Mimi White Mini Serum
The AHA Mimi White Mini Serum is an exfoliant that reduces the appearance of blemishes, dark spots, uneven skin tone, scarring, and so much more. It’s the perfect addition to your night time skin regimen and will make your skin smooth.
Formulated with alpha hydroxy acids, which are known to be effective chemical exfoliators, the Mimi AHA Serum will provide your skin with an ample amount of actives to ensure that dead skin cells are removed, revealing your best skin yet!
There are many types of AHAs that can help lighten or brighten the skin. This product includes water-soluble acid, including lactic acid and citric acid, which are mild AHAs that help improve complexion with regular use. Learn about the many types of chemical exfoliants here.
Each bottle contains 30 mg of product and can be mixed with your existing lotion or whitening cream. By doing so, your skin can better absorb the lotion, thus making way for more moisturizing effects when applied directly. Combining an exfoliant with a moisturizing lotion will also ensure that your skin doesn’t dry out.

Is Mimi White AHA serum safe for sensitive skin?
The Mimi White AHA Serum is safe for those with sensitive and/or dry skin. While it does contain exfoliants and Vitamin C, it is completely safe to use on the body as long as you’re wearing an ample amount of SPF to avoid sun damage. Lactic and citric acids are also quite mild when it comes to AHAs, so redness or stinging should not be an issue.
This product is also alcohol-free, although it is not fragrance-free. Those with a strong allergy or hypersensitivity to fragrance should be cautious – INCI Decoder places fragrance on the sixth spot in the ingredient list.
Can I use Mimi White AHA serum on face?
Is Mimi AHA serum good for face?
The Mimi White AHA Serum is a body serum. It should not be applied on the face where our skin is much more sensitive.
Ingredients of the AHA Mimi White Serum
Want to get an idea of the effectiveness of your cosmetic products or whether it smells nice before actually buying them? Apart from reading reviews, you can check the ingredients list. Here’s what the AHA Mimi White Serum contains:
- Lactic Acid. This well-researched active compound is great at lifting dead skin to reveal a healthier complexion. In higher concentrations (10% or above), it can promote firmness and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This product does not indicate how much lactic acid is in the formula, so we can’t measure how effective those benefits may be here.
- Glycolic Acid. The most well-researched AHA is glycolic acid. It works by removing the “glue” that makes dead skin stick, slugging it off to reveal a more soft and youthful complexion. Glycolic acids may also cause very mild stinging, which is normal as glycolic acids tend to be stronger than other AHAs.
- Citric Acid. The main function of this ingredient is also exfoliation, but it’s less effective and hydrating than the previous two we mentioned. It’s also typically used as a helper ingredient to adjust a formula’s pH levels.
How to Use the AHA Mimi White Mini Serum
This serum can be used as it is or mixed with lotion or other body cream products to help it get absorbed easily. Apply 2-3 drops to your lotion and mix well. You can choose to apply the mixed formula only on dark spots or liberally all over the body like you would with lotion.
For safety, apply a small amount to patch test before trying it on your whole body.
Where to Buy the AHA Mimi White Mini Serum
As someone with dry skin in areas of my body, I’m always in search of a moisturizing lotion or body cream that can cure my woes. Sunspots are another huge problem – they tend to make my skin look uneven and dull, apart from being dry. So when I found out about the good reviews for this product, I hoped against all hope that it would hit two birds with one stone and solve both of my pressing skin concerns in one go.
A lot of reviews mention how nice the product smells. Personally, I’m not a fan of strong fragrances, but I got used to its scent pretty quickly. I did notice some issues with the bottle and how hard it was to control the amount of product you’re getting.
When combined with a lotion, you’ll be able to form a lighter mixture, although it depends on the consistency of your product. Mine is on the richer side, so I was excited to see if the AHA Mimi serum would indeed help with absorption. Sadly, I barely noticed any difference.
Next, I applied the mixture to dry areas as well as dark spots to see how effective it would be in targeting both dryness and dullness. According to the product description, it is best to wait at least three weeks for visible results. I also switched out my brightening soap for a regular soap to make sure the brightening effect isn’t caused by another product.
At two weeks, I definitely noticed my dry patches becoming smoother – the exfoliation helps remove stubborn dead cells. However, I didn’t see much of a change in my dark spots at two weeks.
After three weeks of consistent daily use, I noticed that my lighter spots faded a little, but darker areas looked the same. I’m not going to lie, it’s a little disappointing to see such mediocre results after the recommended 3 weeks – but keep in mind, these are pretty old spots that can be stubborn to remove. With time, I’m positive that this product will be able to remove the lighter spots.
I do love that the product helped with dry patches, which is a huge bonus! The product description emphasizes skin brightening, but in my experience, it’s a lot more helpful in making your skin smoother.
To summarize, there were aspects of this product that disappointed me and other aspects that exceeded my expectations. I was sad not to see any drastic brightening effects since it’s heavily advertised in the product’s description. But I was also surprised at how well it repaired my dry patches.
